Benefits of bifacial solar panels

Bifacial solar panels have unique advantages in many ways. They have their own application scenarios and play an important role.

1. More solar energy can be converted
Typically, single-sided solar panels have a conversion rate of around 10-20%, with some of the best quality single-sided panels being able to exceed 20%. However, bifacial solar panels can almost always achieve conversion rates of more than 20%. Therefore, bifacial solar panels can convert more solar energy for the same installation area and work more efficiently.

2. Space saving
Once the required power has been determined, the installation area required for a bifacial solar module is relatively small compared to a normal single-sided PV module, if the installation requirements for a bifacial solar module are met. It therefore saves valuable space for the user.

3. More durable
